The Lion King is a video game released in 1994 for the Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo, and then ported to the Amiga, MS-DOS, Game Boy, Sega Game Gear, Master System and NES. This page will only cover the NES version released exclusively in Europe.
Why the NES version sucks
- Terrible graphics.
- Poor controls.
- Extremely short, consisting of only six levels.
- Poor ending.
- The game increases or decreases the amount of levels depending on the difficulty.
- False advertising: The back of the box claims the game to have over 10 levels, despite the game having only the aforementioned six levels.
- A bootleg NES port by Super Game is actually better than the official port.
